2.40ct natural marquise faceted loose ruby gem high clarity good silk

A natural loose Earth mined ruby, the gem is 2.40ct and this gem is rather large at bout the 14mmX6.5mm, with its elongated faceting it could easily be mistaken for a 3ct gem and lends to pendants, not just rings.
 
This gem has a red colour with longer wavelength (yellow) light and the gem shows a pinker colour under shorter wavelengths like a phone camera.
 
This gem is expertly faceted and has also good polishing so the lustre is great and the gem has great clarity.
